THE TRAVELLERS' TROPHY
Introduced to the event in 2008, the Travellers' Trophy was donated by Commodore Colin Hall (2002-2004) of the Royal Southern Yacht Club who travelled over from the UK to present the trophy for the first time to Adam Minoprio.
The trophy was back dated to include the highest placed non-Australian teams of past events which included Alastair Hall, Commodore Hall's son, who had travelled to Perth to compete in two Warren Jones Regattas.
The trophy symbolises the importance of international competition to better competitors experience and encourage camaraderie between teams from around the world.
